Because of the lack of lilac on the breast and cheeks, it appears bluer overall than Lilac-breasted Roller. It has elongated outer tail feathers with spatulate tips. |

A bit less common than the Lilac-breasted Roller, this bird prefers the more wooded areas of the miombo. Only present in the South of the province. |
