For some time now, a hippopotamus has been visiting the installations of the water-sports Club of the lake Tshangalele. Apparently attracted by the quality of the lawn, he comes out of the water every night to graze in the middle of the camp. The ICCN staff in charge of this reserve protects effectively the animal while making sure that the fishermen and the other sailors incur no risk. It is necessary to remind that this wild animal can be dangerous when feeling threatened.
This hippo became the mascot of the Club and the visitors enjoy the show given by the animal.
We must encourage the ICCN to continue its effective protection and…must find a name for this mascot.
