Within the framework of the Post-Graduate Diploma in Agronomy organized collectively by the UNILU, the ULB, the ULG-Gembloux and BAK, Dr Jérôme DEGREEF, Head of the Cryptogamy Department at the National Botanical garden of Belgium stayed in Katanga.
He lectured students on edible mushrooms, but also on mycorhizes that are indispensable to the development of the trees of the miombo. Practical identification exercises were organized in the field with the students. |
