Description :   Length: 11 cm; forearm: 4,7 cm; weight: 15 g. Pelage is dark brown. Wing membranes are black and interfemoral membrane is brown. Tail is long and completely enclosed by the interfemoral membrane. The second phalanx of its third finger is greatly elongated. Ears are small and rounded.  
     
Habitat :   Woodland, savannah, forests. 
     
Behaviour :   Lives in small groups. Roosts in caves and mines. Rapid flier.  
     
Diet :   Insects.  
     
Life history :   After 8 months of gestation, females give birth to a young.
